2° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

Il tempo delle nozze è quello in cui, per il mistero dell'Incarnazione, il Signore si unì a sé la Chiesa . E' questo il segno manifestato a Cana, che diviene realtà quotidiana nell'Eucaristia, quando Gesù riversa in noi la pienezza della Divinità.

Tuttavia, la sequela di Cristo  e ancor di più la virtù della solitudine  favoriscono lo schiudersi della nuova alleanza che è amore e conoscenza di Dio.

3° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

Nel deserto l'uomo si appoggia unicamente su Dio, poiché ogni sforzo è vano per salire il monte della perfezione se non ci si fonda su Cristo.

Così si fa l'esperienza che la giustificazione è dono divino, non opera nostra. Si entra allora nel regime della fede, quella autentica e dell'abbandono a Dio, frutto della conversione.

4° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

La tentazione è un po' il segno da cui si riconosce il monaco.  Nella prova egli è purificato e acquista l'umiltà, sicché la tentazione può essere vantaggiosa.

Grazie all'aiuto della preghiera  il monaco, come Abramo, mostra che la sua fede in Dio è più forte di ogni altro affetto. Così sperimenta che è Cristo a vincere in lui per la fede.

5° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

L'incontro col Padre nel segreto della solitudine,
nella tenebra luminosa, è la vita eterna già iniziata quaggiù.
Essa consiste appunto nel conoscere il Padre, il Figlio e lo Spirito Santo;
questa è l'unica sapienza riservato ai puri di cuore,
il dono ineffabile della nostra filiazione divina.

1^st Sunday in Ordinary Time

The heavens open and a voice is heard saying:

This is my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The loved one generates love

and immaterial light bears into the world an inaccessible light.

When the Dove appears, it will draw up all earth towards heaven

Instead of the olive branch it will bestow on all mankind

adoption as adoptive sons of God.

2^rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

The manifestation of Jesus – Wedding at Cana

The time of the wedding is that when, through the mystery of Incarnation, the Lord united the Church with Him. This is the sign shown at Cana, which becomes an everyday reality in the Eucharist, when Jesus fills us with the fulness of Divinity.

However, Christ’s action and, much more, the virtue of solitude favour the opening of the new pact which is one of love and knowledge of God.

3^rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

In the desert man has only God to rest upon, since every effort to climb the mountain of perfection is vain if it is not founded on Christ.

Thus, an experience is made that justification is a divine gift, not a work done by us. That way one enters in an environment of faith, an authentic one by which a person, as a result of his conversion, etrusts himself in the hands of God.

4^th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Temptation is an event helping to know better who a monk is. In his trials, he is purified and acquires humility, so that the temptation may be turned into being somewhat advantageous.

Thankful for the help received through prayer, the monk, like Abraham, shows that his faith in God is much stronger than any other inclination. He will thus experiment that it is Christ who wins inside him through faith.

5^th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Meeting the Father in the secret of solitude, in shining darkness – this is life everlasting already started from this life.

It essentially consists in knowing the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; this is the unique experience which is reserved only for the pure of heart – the inexpressible gift of our divine filiation.
