19° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

La visita del Signore

Urge star svegli attendendo il Signore che viene a visitarci,

sopratutto mediante la preghiera e il cuor umile.

Questo ci condurrà a far l’esperienza del va e vieni di Dio.

Infatti Dio si compiace di visitare le solitudini del deserto

e dimorare nel nostro cuore.

20° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

Umiltà

Come vi è un orgoglio mondano e un orgoglio monastico, così esiste un’umiltà mondana e un’umiltà monastica.
Tramite la conoscenza di sé e la messa in pratica del vangelo di Cristo si acquista un cuore puro.

21° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

Orecchi che odono, occhi che vedono

Se il Signore guarisce i nostri corpi, perché non potrà sanarci l’anima, se glielo chiediamo?
La custodia dei sensi in solitudine conduce alla fruizione di Dio.

22° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

Carità effettiva

L’autentica misericordia e l’autentica carità fraterna,
che non esclude nessuno dal nostro cuore,
manifestano il primato dell’amore.
E’ lo Spirito Santo ad insegnarci l’arte di amare: non porre misure al nostro amore!

23° Settimana del Tempo Ordinario

Rendimento di grazie
L’azione di grazie va messa all’inizio di ogni preghiera;
a poco a poco essa diverrà la nostra preghiera ininterrotta.
La gioia accompagna il ringraziamento,
perché quando l’uomo avverte la presenza di Dio,
converte la sua preghiera nella lode.
Tuttavia, vi sono ostacoli precisi all’azione di grazie nella nostra vita, sebbene Cristo ci insegni quale è il vero rendimento di grazie.

19th Sunday of the Year

The Lord’s visit

It is necessary that we keep awake waiting for the Lord who will come visiting us,

mainly through prayer and a humble heart.

This will lead us to experience God’s doings.

In fact God pleases to visit the solitude of the desert

and to dwell in our heart.

20th Sunday of the Year

Humility

Just as there is worldly pride and monatic pride, same way there is worldly humility and monastic humility.

Through self-awareness and practising Christ’s gospel, a pure heart is obtained.

21st Sunday of the Year

Ears that listen, eyes that see

If the Lord heals our bodies, why could He not heal our soul, if we only beseech Him?

The safeguarding of our senses in solitude leads to fruition by God.

22nd Sunday of the Year

The efficacy of charity

Authentic mercy and authentic brotherly charity,

which does not exclude anyone from our heart,

show what supremacy of love is.

It is the Holy Spirit who teaches us the art of loving: He does not put any limitations to our love!

23rd Sunday of the Year

Thanksgiving

The action of grace permeates us at the beginning of each prayer;

little by little it becomes our uninterrupted prayer.

Joy accompanies thanksgiving,

because when a person is aware of God’s presence,

he converts his prayer into praise.

However, there are precise obstacles to the action of grace in our life, although Christ teaches us what true thanksgiving means.
